UNITED CHURCH OF CANADA

The United Church of Canada faced a huge challenge: With shrinking congregations, they had to change a nation’s perception of what they were. Telling people that they were more open-minded and less dogmatic than most denominations would fall on deaf ears. They had to prove it. Thus, a big idea was born. 

 

THE BIG IDEA: Wondercafe.ca 

 

We created a place for Canadians to explore the things that matter to them. We then created a campaign that attracted coverage by hundreds of media outlets worldwide, and generated more social media attention than a Kardashian nose job. Wondercafe has since become a case study in Canadian marketing textbooks.
